| Frustrated by the kiss Rui gave to Makino on the court, Doumyoji wanders the streets. Meanwhile at his house, his sister Tsubaki and the rest are eating. On the streets some thugs try to steal Doumyoji's money etc. Doumyoji was out of it until they said something that caught his attention. He then starts to beat them up but on the last one, he hears Makino's voice and stops. At his house, Tsubaki tells Rui "I'll lend you a room here. If you're a man, make up your mind." Makino and Rui are forced into a room. Scared to death, Makino moves towards the door. Rui finally confesses to her about his feelings for her. She would be second best choice if he couldn't have Shizuka. Doumyoji returns and hears Akira, Soujiro, and Tsubaki talking about Rui and Makino. He sits down and simply say "Rui is a good man. Excellent. Excellent." In the morning, Doumyoji announces to Akira and Soujiro that he is leaving for New York! -To be continued- |

| This episode is so sweet! Poor Makino though, she can't have Rui but Doumyoji would be a better choice anyhow! |
